This broad basis helps you to specify the problem of the assignment, and to develop ideas for the realisation thereof. It is now time, during the emergence of the concept, to roughly clarify organisational questions concerning shooting and editing. The consolidation of contents and initial ideas supports you during the subsequent writing of the script. Remain open-minded and agile, maintain a balance between planning, inspiration and intuition.

You always want to focus on the assignment/question. The time invested in the film should be worthwhile for both you and the audience, it should arouse interest, increase knowledge and be fun to watch.

The realisation should not be too conservative, and it can certainly be controversial.
